The event covers a wide range of sectors, including mining equipment and machinery, drilling technology, crushing and mineral processing, material handling and lifting equipment, automation and digital mining solutions, power generation and distribution, renewable energy, electrical infrastructure, engineering and technical services. ZIMEC is not only an exhibition but also a high-level conference and networking platform bringing together government representatives, investors, mining companies, energy stakeholders, technology providers and industry experts. The 2026 edition attracted more than 600 attendees, over 65 exhibitors and participants from more than 20 countries, while the opening ceremony was attended by Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema. ZIMEC 2027 provides exhibitors with the opportunity to present their products and services directly to key decision-makers in the African mining and energy industries, while creating valuable opportunities to develop new distributors, project partnerships, investors and customers, particularly in Zambia’s copper mining investments, new mining projects, energy infrastructure and sustainable mining sectors.
