LIMA

LIMA – Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition is one of Southeast Asia’s leading international exhibitions for the defence, aerospace and maritime industries, organised by the Malaysian Ministry of Defence (MINDEF). The 18th edition, LIMA’27, will take place from 20–24 April 2027 in Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia. Under the theme “Sustainable Vision Across Sea, Sky & Space,” the exhibition will showcase a wide range of defence and aerospace technologies, including maritime systems, aircraft, UAVs and autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, missile systems and advanced weaponry, space technologies, satellite and telecommunications systems, critical infrastructure security, and air and maritime medical technologies. LIMA’27 is targeting approximately 930 exhibiting companies from 36 countries, more than 450 official delegations from 65 countries, around 60,000 trade visitors and up to 400,000 total visitors, while approximately 110 aircraft and 90 naval and maritime assets are expected to be showcased. The exhibition is particularly valuable for Turkish defence companies seeking to enter the Malaysian and wider Southeast Asian defence markets, connect with military and government authorities across ASEAN, identify local distributors and partners, and develop new business opportunities in the maritime and aerospace sectors.
