The 1st Indonesia Water and Wastewater Technology Expo will be held from September 18 to 20 in Jakarta this year, marking its 18th edition.
Indo Water is the most significant and largest event in Indonesia's rapidly growing water industry, attracting over 550 participants from 30 countries and 19,000 visitors annually.
Fairs in Indonesia, included in the list of target countries announced by the Ministry of Trade, benefit from a 70% incentive.
In 2022, 93.6% of the budget of Indonesia's Ministry of Public Works and Housing was allocated to water and wastewater technologies, including drinking water, storage, irrigation, and sanitation. The sustainable management of water resources is among the top priorities of the Indonesian government for its 2024 targets.
As a G-20 member, Indonesia has a population of 267 million and a national income of 1.1 trillion USD as of mid-2020, making it the largest economy in Southeast Asia and the 16th largest in the world.
